On 13 October 2006 saw the club's golfers (PP Rollie Fantone, PP Jun Bohol,
IPP Rodelle Bolante, PE Dino Nolasco, Rtn. Jet delos Santos, Rtn. Vlady Ponce de Leon,
and future Rotarian Alec Africa) challenge the course at Mt. Malarayat. There were
188 participants -- a record number, which made the playing time around 7 hours,
perhaps another record. Although our golfers did not win in the tournament, none of
them went home empty-handed as they all won during the raffle. PP Frix was not able
to participate but he was kind enough to lend his van (which our golfers found very
comfortable since after the long trip and playing time, they can relax and sleep
on the way home).
